About Me

Daniel Rockers, PhD

About

Hello, I'm Dr. Daniel Rockers. My expertise lies in guiding individuals through personal growth, spirituality, stress management, and post-traumatic stress. I specialize in helping high-level professionals, particularly physicians, navigate the complexities and stresses of demanding careers. Whether it's managing workplace conflict, initiating creative transformation, or mastering relaxation techniques, my goal is to support you in thriving professionally and personally.

Throughout my career, I've been known as an idea generator and a catalyst for positive change. I served on the advisory committee and contributed to the initial design of the Joy of Medicine program. My international experience working closely with doctors in Moscow, Russia, has provided me with insights into the unique challenges faced by medical professionals under significant stress.

My passion has always revolved around understanding the intricate connections between psychology, motivation, and physical well-being. With advanced training in counseling psychology and neuropsychology, I bring a holistic perspective to my practice, effectively addressing mind-body interactions. Additionally, my previous role as director of a multidisciplinary pain treatment center allowed me to coach hundreds of individuals managing chronic pain. This experience profoundly enhanced my understanding of motivation, goal-setting, and achieving lasting results. These lessons I apply directly in my work today.

When I'm not working, you'll likely find me immersed in the technical craft of brewing beer or perfecting homemade bread. I also enjoy practicing yoga, reading, and meditation, all of which help me maintain balance and mindfulness in my life.
